The Power of Youtube
Some commentators have criticised Obama for not responding to McCain’s attack ads in kind. He simply doesn’t need to - voters do it for him. Like so:
Obama gets the attack ads; they hit home. And he can claim he’s still the insurgency candidate who’s above the old, negative politics. Rather what he’s looking for, no?

I LOVE these hits on McSame:

However, I believe Obama MUST respond adequately in his own ads - and not just taking on McSame’s lies, but starting to restate a positive, inspiring case for his own presidency. Remember how inspiring he was during the primaries? I want that candidate back. Barack is still the dude, but he just needs to show it, and come out swinging!
These ads are great but unlike Obama’s own material, they won’t get on TV - which is where the election is mostly won and lost. Obama has the youtube demographic locked down - McSame can’t even use a computer - but it’s the millions who watch TV and are fed memes like Obama=foreign/unAmerican/elitist/celebrity that need some more of the big O’s Hope’n'Change combo.
