“Send in the army!”

The Telegraph hosts a blog by Richard Barnbrook, it seems. A sample from his latest post:

Well let me tell you that times are changing. This is our city and we are going to take it back. We are going to take all the weapons of (sic) the streets even if that means sending in the Army to do it… if immigrants don’t like it then they know where the airport is

That’s it, you heard him - the army! Zieg Heil! Zieg Heil! Brutalise those fuckers to the max…

The Torygraph falls further in my estimation every day. Most of what’s in the wretched publication is bullshit. That they now host fascist bullshit is even worse…

The Tory Troll has a more thorough dissection than I’ve time for now, should you be interested in feeling ill…

  1. They host this lunatic’s blog?

They allow their bandwidth to be filled with this deranged drivel? What on Earth was running through their heads? Why is this not a scandal?

  2. By signing up to be able to comment on the Telegraph system, one is able to set up a blog. I have toyed with such systems before, but decided that the novelty factor wasn’t worth allowing nutters to keep blogs on my webspace.

The Telegraph can well afford a handful of bytes. I see no reason why Barnbrook shouldn’t be allowed to write his offensive drivel on their site - hopefully many people will read it!

(Because of the nature of the system, it is possible that Barnbrook has fallen victim to a hoax. Unlikely, but worth mentioning. If so, it is worrying that it is so believable.)

  3. It’s a good point but Barnbrook’s site is definitely not a hoax. He announced his meeting with the ‘100 young people’ on the blog and then turned up at the announced time. Unfortunately for him, no-one else did.

It’s not just Barnbrook. His fellow party member Carlos Cortiglia has a blog at the Telegraph as well:

The Guardian writer he mentions sitting next to is Dave Hill.

  4. Thanks Ali, I had assumed that they had sent out especially for him, leaving me with the rather worrying impression that a conversation starting with the line “You know who we really need…” had taken place. Your filling me in on this matter is appreciated.

TT: What, no noble youths willing to turn out for Richard? What chance does the British nation stand, I ask you?

  5. I’d have loved to have seen him meet and greet a large room of nobody!
