Boris didn’t know?
Just seen an interview with BoJo on BBC London with content to the effect that he didn’t know the anti-racist content had been cut from Rise. When pressed, he said he didn’t know what had happened, and that he was sure anti-racist festivals were wonderful and everyone would have a great time.
Did he not read Comrade Mirza’s piece for CiF, then? Delegation is perfectly acceptable, so long as you still know what’s going on. Or indeed, what’s on the news…
EDIT: Oh, and he missed this too. To miss an item from yesterday’s news which your team broke is careless. To miss an important memorandum of understanding that’s been around for a year just defies attempts at pseudo-Wildean wit…
EDIT THE SECOND: My ears did not deceive me…

Not got much grasp of what’s going on in his office, has he?
More interestingly, it seems that he is being held to account by the liberal/left blogosphere, which has been pushing this harder than anyone.
‘Held to account’?
Yeah, he must be really feeling the heat with only three years and ten months to go before polling day.
Calm down - this is a marathon, not a sprint.
It’s first impressions that count Trot Watch. It won’t take long for Londoners to get a measure of their new Mayor.
