Boris and the bottles
Andrew Marr’s interview with BoJo this morning was weak. As Mr. Stop Boris points out, Marr clearly had been briefed poorly: compared to the grilling he received on BBC London on Friday, the mayor had an easy ride. Suddenly mislaid £465,000, Boris? Don’t worry, Andrew never knew…
My own contribution is somewhat more trivial: on the matter of those mysterious wine-bottles:
The Times, meanwhile, cut the number of bottles of wine from “over a hundred” to just 39. This leaves us with 3 possibilities: that the Times itself is lying, or that Boris lied in the first place.
Or that, since the discovery, he polished off 61 bottles of Chataeu Neuf du Pape.
Now, read on…
Oh, and did anyone notice how nice Marr was to Smith, too? She left smiling. When she’s defending such a heinous assault on basic civil freedoms, that shouldn’t happen. The next time a Tory whines about “liberal bias” I’ll send them for a nice, easy interview on Sunday Morning…
